Tips for participants

Please feel invited to read the most important organizational information for participants of 14th PZU Warsaw Half Marathon.

As always, a group of pacemakers will help runners of 38th PZU Warsaw Marathon to keep correct pace while running. This year pacemakers will be tasked to complete the course in following times: 1:20, 1:25, 1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:10 i 2:20.

Race kits for 14th Warsaw Half Marathon, which contain race bibs and time measurement chips, can be collected in the Race Office. The address of the race office will be announced at a later date.

Race office opening hours:
29th of March 2019 (Friday) – 12:00 pm. – 8:00 pm.
30th of March 2019 (Saturday) – 10:00 am. – 8:00 pm.
Attention! The race office will be closed on the day of the race.

Remember! Your race kit can be collected by other
person provided he/she has your personal race card
(signed) and copy of your ID. Your race card will be
available to print out from your personal profile on
registration site about 2 weeks before the run.


To participate in 14th Warsaw Half Marathon it is necessary to pay the entry fee.
The rates are as follows:

You can leave your belongings in the deposit points only in the bag in which you received the race kit. If you want to leave your belongings in the deposit, put the sticker with your starting number on the bag. You have the sticker in your race kit. To collect the deposit you will need your race bib. We bear no responsibility for things left in the deposit. The deposit points and changing rooms will be open from 8:00 am. If you need to leave your belongings in the deposit, please come earlier enough.

Start of the 14th Warsaw Half Marathon will take place at 10:00 am, start for the athletes in wheelchairs will take place at 9:57 am.

The start of the half marathon is divided into corrals. The entrance to the corrals is based on colour marking of corral on a race bib.
Invited elite runners – blue Corral
1 – red Corral
2 – yellow Corral
3 – green

NOTICE! On behalf of all participants, we would like to ask you to stand in the respective corrals depending on your planned result. It is not only a proof of personal culture and respect for faster runners, but also a concern for safety and comfort of all competitors on the route. Please let the participants in wheelchairs move forward, they are starting earlier.


There will be 4 refreshment stations along the course.



Pacers will help you achieve the following real times: 1:20, 1:25, 1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:10, 2:15, 2:20. They will carry respective signs and flags.
You don’t have to specifically sign up for the group. Just run with the selected pacemaker.
